After Dark Mind is defeated, Meta Knight puts the sword in a pedestal. The four Kirby's defeat Dark Meta Knight and are sucked into a portal, and Meta Knight tosses his sword after them so they can fight Dark Mind. When the four Kirby's gather all the Mirror Shards, they encounter Meta Knight and his Dark counterpart. Dark Meta Knight then proceeds to split Kirby into four separate Kirby's. Right from the get-go he flies to the parallel Mirror World to save it from danger, but is instead kidnapped by his evil Mirror World counterpart, Dark Meta Knight. In this game, Meta Knight has a more heroic appearance. He defeats Galacta Knight and is thus, the greatest (technically one of the greatest) warrior in the galaxy. After going through Kirby's adventures from the original Kirby Super Star (excluding Gourmet Race), Meta Knight revives the comet NOVA and, to become stronger, he wishes to fight the greatest warrior in the galaxy, Galacta Knight. In the remake Kirby Super Star Ultra, Meta Knight once again has his own sub-game. Besides possibly Kirby's Adventure, this is Meta Knight's only villainous role. However, his plan is foiled by Kirby who defeats him in a duel, destroys the Halberd and escapes on a Wheelie Bike. In this sub-game, Meta Knight plans to end the lazy lifestyle of Dreamland by force by using the Halberd to take it over. In perhaps his most famous role of the franchise, Meta Knight appears as the main villain of the sub-game Meta Knight's Revenge. Kirby Super Star/ Kirby Super Star Ultra While stronger and faster than Kirby, Meta Knight only has three health bars compared to Kirby's six, and the player is not given the option to save until the sub-game is over. In it, Meta Knight rushes through the stages to practice his swordplay, ending once King Dedede is defeated. In Kirby: Nightmare in Dreamland, the "Meta Knightmare" sub-game is unlocked after clearing the game 100%. When Meta Knight loses, his mask is split in two, revealing his face. He later duels Kirby at the base of his operations, Orange Ocean. Throughout every world, Meta Knight would send his soldiers after Kirby in order to stop him, although, alternatively, this can be seen as Meta Knight trying to prepare him for Nightmare. In this game, King Dedede, after splitting the Star Rod into several pieces to prevent the evil Nightmare from wreaking havoc on Dreamland, recruits Meta Knight and the Meta-Knights into his army to protect one of the Star Rod's pieces. Meta Knight makes his first appearance here in 1993, although he is never given a proper name. for Wii Uīiography Kirby's Adventure/ Kirby: Nightmare in Dreamland 1.9 Kirby's Dream Collection Special Edition.1.8 Kirby's Return to Dream Land/ Kirby's Return to Dream Land Deluxe.1.6 Kirby's Epic Yarn/ Kirby's Extra Epic Yarn.1.2 Kirby Super Star/ Kirby Super Star Ultra.1.1 Kirby's Adventure/ Kirby: Nightmare in Dreamland. Ultimate - Kirby's Strongest Copy Abilities Once Kirby landed in Cappy Town, Meta Knight saw this as an opportunity to train Kirby for combat. While most of the Star Warriors perished, Meta Knight and two of his allies survived. In the anime, both Kirby and Meta Knight are Star Warriors, a group of heroes who fought against eNeMeE during the great war. While this alone doesn't sound very heroic, it's quickly revealed that Meta Knight's purpose for dueling Kirby is to train him. In this episode, Meta Knight is sent by King Dedede to duel Kirby and learn his weakness. However, it wasn't until episode 3, Kirby's Duel Role, that viewers learned more about Meta Knight's motives. Meta Knight appeared in the Kirby anime Right Back at Ya! in the pilot episode.
